PATHWAYS SCHOOL CHAPLAIN
Trinity College, University of Melbourne comprises a co-educational Residential College, Theological School and Pathways Schools incorporating a sizeable Foundation Studies and Young Leaders programs.
The Pathways School Chaplain will work with the College Chaplain and other members of the Chaplaincy team and staff of Trinity College to provide Christian ministry. There will be a particular focus on the students and staff of the Trinity College Pathways School. The Chaplain will work closely with Student Support Services in the Pathways School, including in supporting students seeking assistance on such matters as spiritual guidance, bereavement, and information about places of worship.
The successful candidate will be an Anglican priest with academic qualifications in theology or pastoral studies, ideally possessing experience in pastoral care and/or working with young people or youth work in ministry. Knowledge or exposure to other cultures, and faith traditions, and sensitivity to cultural and faith differences would be highly regarded as would be experience working in international settings.
