The Management Accountant contributes to the efficient running of the Diocese of Melbourne by providing accounting support, and acting as 2iC to the Finance Operations Manager of the Diocese. This is achieved through undertaking efficient and effective work practices to provide timely and accurate management reports, accounting advice and oversight of the accounting system. This is a full time permanent position
Executive Assistance to CEO
The Executive Assistant to the Registrar [ADOM] and CEO [MADC] contributes to the effective function of the Diocese of Melbourne by providing senior administrative and organisational support to the Registrar / CEO. The role will run the Registry Office and have delegated responsibility for the correct licensing and authorisation of Church Workers within the Diocese. This is a full time permanent position.
Youth Ministry Consultant
The Youth Ministry Consultant supports and resources parish-based youth ministry in the diocese to empower local youth ministries to reach unchurched youth, make committed disciples and develop leaders. This will be achieved through implementation the diocesan strategic plan for youth ministry, facilitating the development of youth ministry leaders through coaching, training and facilitating learning communities. This is a full time permanent position.
Head of Property and Risk
The Head of Property and Risk contributes to the effective function of the Diocese of Melbourne by providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of the property and risk portfolios. These portfolios provide critical support to Archbishop in Council [AiC] and the Committees of AiC, Parishes, Archbishop, Bishops, Archdeacons, Clergy and the Registrar / CEO as well as parish office bearers. This is a full time permanent position.
The Diocesan Property Manager will manage property rentals on behalf of the Diocese and parishes, which will include responsibility for securing tenants, negotiating leases, licences, ensuring maintenance and repairs are undertaken, advising of rental increases, managing the rental database and other associated administration. This is a full time permanent position.
Property Projects Manager
The Property Projects Manager will provide a range of operational property services across the Diocese, supporting parishes in project management, maintenance management, contract management, drawing management and associated duties. This is a full time permanent position.
The Risk Manager will support the Head of Property and Risk in proactive and robust generalist operational risk management and risk strategy, across business continuity, corporate governance, enterprise risk, information and security risk, market and credit risk, regulatory and operational risk, technology risk. This is a full time permanent position.
