Caulfield Grammar School

Chaplain

Caulfield Grammar School is a coeducational day and boarding school with five campuses – four in Australia and one in Nanjing, China – and is associated with the Anglican Church.

It is well known for its provision of innovative, specialist programs for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 12. Teaching staff are supported by an extensive professional development program. Our diverse learning community welcomes committed, passionate and inspirational educators who bring a range of life experiences and a belief in their ability to make a difference.

We are seeking an ordained Anglican minister, eligible to be licensed in the Diocese of Melbourne, to join our chaplaincy team in 2018. The Chaplain provides thoughtful pastoral and theological leadership to the community, seeking to enable the whole person to live wholeheartedly.

It is expected that the person has a personal commitment to the Christian faith, clearly affirms and participates in our Anglican tradition and has a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team, with an ability to creatively converse with contemporary culture.

VIT registration is required for this role. Pedagogical expertise and experience in teaching is essential. A recognised degree in theology is highly desirable.

Applications close:  Friday 26 May 2017
