College Chaplain - The Springfield Anglican College


The Springfield Anglican College is a leading coeducational College with separate Primary and Secondary campuses, located in the Greater Brisbane area. The College has an enrolment of approximately 1100 students.

 

The Springfield Anglican College is seeking a Chaplain to lead the Christian life of the College commencing in January 2022. The successful candidate will have experience in Chaplaincy, counselling, or other relevant experience, providing pastoral, counselling and support services. This position may be full time or part time to suit the successful applicant.

 

The Chaplain is a member of the College’s leadership team and is primarily responsible for the gospel ministry of the College in line with the Anglican Diocesan Ethos Statement. The College Chaplain will be a strong Christian who has a passion for the gospel, a heart for mission and ministry and is a passionate educator and community builder. On appointment the College Chaplain would be licensed through the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane and would be supported through a range of Chaplain networks including Anglican Schools Australia and the Anglican Schools Commission.

 

Teacher registration is an advantage but is not a pre-requisite for the position.

It is a mandatory requirement that non-teaching applicants must hold a current and valid Queensland Working With Children Blue Card or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card before commencing employment with the College.
