GS17 members tell us what they thought about this year's General Synod
October 13 2017The Anglican Church of Australia held its General Synod in Maroochydore, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, between 3-8 September. Being the first General Synod since 2014, there was much important business to attend to, including agreements around a national redress scheme for sexual abuse survivors, same-sex marriage, and domestic violence in the church and wider community. Anglican Media Melbourne was there, and spoke to a few of the Synod members about their week - what they were happy with, what they weren't, and what they thought were the big issues facing the church in the future.
