Three elements fuel mission, says Archbishop Freier

February 12 2016Three elements are essential in a post-Christian world for the way in which Christians bear God’s purposes in the world, proclaim the gospel and carry out loving service in God’s name, Archbishop Philip Freier says.
Dr Freier told the Life in Abundance Anglican Mission and Evangelism Conference at Trinity College, Melbourne, on Thursday, February 11, that these elements are relationship, community and prayer.
“There is little doubt that we must be in authentic relationship with others to receive the gift of their trust and the space that opens itself to the encounters that we call evangelism, disciple and formation,” he said.
