Anglicans and their friends from all over celebrated the ministry of Archbishop Philip and Joy Freier at a valedictory Choral Evensong for them at St Paul’s Cathedral on 9 February.
Dr Freier was relaxed as he followed the procession into St Paul’s at the start of the service, and jubilant as he lay aside his pastoral staff and joined Mrs Freier, marking the end of the era.
