Kyle’s Beachside Baptism

Vision Christian Media

2 September 2024

Kyle from Jimboomba in Queensland enjoys sharing his heartwarming journey of faith with Vision. He says that the guidance he has received from Jesus in his life is largely thanks to what he found through listening to Vision Radio.

Kyle has always felt a divine calling on his life, yet he struggled to connect deeply with God. In late 2022, Kyle’s new job as a Sales Representative, which came with a company car, unexpectedly led him to tune into Vision on his radio. From that moment on, with God guiding him, everything changed.

Through listening to Vision, Kyle encountered teachings that deeply resonated with him. But the real change came when he accepted Jesus into his life. ‘I repented and accepted Jesus into my heart,’ says Kyle. ‘From that moment on, life has been an incredible journey.’

Love in Action

Vision then became Kyle’s constant companion, providing spiritual guidance and encouragement. It was listening to 20Twenty on Vision, featuring Pastor Dave Quak, that transformed Kyle’s approach to mental health. He had long struggled with mental health issues and medication, feeling frustrated when faith alone didn’t immediately cure him.

‘Pastor Dave’s message was a massive eye-opener,’ says Kyle. ‘We need all the tools in the toolbox. Embracing faith, medication, fitness, and diet has been game-changing for me.’

No long after hearing Pastor Dave on Vision, Kyle reached out to him directly, and they have since been in regular contact. Just last weekend, Pastor Dave baptised Kyle at the beach. He shared a powerful testimony, and invited around ten family members and friends, none of whom had met Jesus before. They all heard the gospel and then witnessed it in action.

‘Once I accepted Jesus,’ says Kyle, ‘everything else just fell into place.’
