We’re looking back at more of our favourite photos and what they illuminated in the second part of this series. Enjoy!

Indigenous spirituality gathering aims to help Christians echo truth and love

This historic conference focused on Indigenous spiritual perspectives, and featured Professor Stan Grant (pictured above, right) among many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.

Professor Grant urged Indigenous Christians to be revolutionary by adopting love and truth as they called for justice.

Gather at St Paul’s Cathedral aimed to connect with young people in inner Melbourne.

The colour, the zany-ness, the laughs! More than 100 primary-aged kids were about to be treated to a packed program of dancing, music, games and biblical teaching at St John’s Diamond Creek in July – and Andy Barras captured all the preparation.

Food aid volunteers offer hope, no questions asked

St Luke’s Cockatoo volunteers give their time every week for people struggling with living pressures through food aid, and just by listening.

The foodbank’s appealing set-up alone mirrored this enormous generosity of spirit.

The work of Gunditjmara artist Rhett Wilson was displayed at St Mark’s Spotswood during NAIDOC week this year, and came to symbolise healing and reconciliation there.

We are ‘with’ as God is with us: Serving at St Vincent’s

The Reverend Sam Lo. Picture: Elspeth Kernebone.

In this profile about her, Anglican deacon and Pastoral Cate Coordinator the Reverend Sam Lo, told us working in healthcare chaplaincy was like coming home.

One of Ms Lo’s dreams is to put into book form her many experiences in the field.

That’s a dream we too hope she gets to fulfill.

We hope you’ve enjoyed journeying back with us so far. We’ll bring you more in this series soon.
