The family of Michael Leunig will host a memorial service for the beloved cartoonist who died late last year, at St Paul’s Cathedral on Thursday 30 January.
Leunig was one of Archbishop Philip Freier’s first conversationalists on his breakfast conversations series, joining the archbishop at Federation Square in 2007 to discuss Poet, Priest, Prophet: What is the role of the Prophetic Voice in the 21st century.
He was also Dr Freier’s final guest when he joined the archbishop’s 65th and final public conversation in October 2024 to ponder a curious question: Is our society allergic to God?
