In our nursing homes and aged care facilities there are hidden saints of the church. Marj McGregor was one. She had lived with dementia in Kyneton for many years but overseen by her two feisty sisters Margaret and Helen who lived in the same facility and made sure Marj was not forgotten.
I first met Gerald during my years at Ridley in the mid-1980s. I had quite a deal to do with him in the late 80s and early 90s when I was synod media officer for the diocese of Tasmania.
The death of Clive Tadgell at age 88 has brought universal sorrow. The Honourable Robert Clive Tadgell AO – Justice of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court, Chancellor of the Diocese of Melbourne, was simply Clive Tadgell at St George’s Malvern, a regular and much loved parishioner.
Anthea McCall will be remembered for her humility and joy, and for her love for Jesus and His Church as expressed in her ministry roles as mentor, pastor and teacher.
