A Scholarship to Tintern opens diverse and challenging opportunities for the holder, providing breadth and depth to their education and develops leadership within the Tintern community.
Our Scholarship holders bring an enormous range of gifts to our School. These can be in academic leadership, service in pursuit of social justice, the arts or community leadership. Scholarship recipients present a strong character, an appetite for learning and improvement, and respect, care and kindness towards others.
We welcome applications from Melbourne Anglican readers for The Henry and Jean Speagle Scholarship. It will enable a female student who does not currently attend Tintern Grammar and for financial reasons could not otherwise afford the benefit of a Tintern education. It is open to a family (or student) who has an affiliation and is a practising member of a recognised Christian denomination, preferably Anglican.
