Ten people have taken on the role of deacon in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne after an ordination ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Reverends Julia Boyd, Helena Cameron, Conrad Chiu, Ginger Chen, Cara Greenham Hancock, Shannon Hood, Luke Prentice, Josephine Quinlan, Jonathan Tran and Peter Young were ordained at St Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday.
They will work at St James’ Glen Iris, St Columb’s Hawthorn, St Hilary’s Kew, Glen Waverley Anglican Church, St Stephen and St Mary’s Mount Waverley, St Alfred’s Blackburn North, Ormond Anglican, Caulfield Grammar School, Inner West Church Flemington and Holy Trinity Doncaster.
